In the online classes we offer the students to watch – ONLY on request – the replay of a class they missed.
This is important because they can not, as in the local classes, read the written notes soon afterwards to catch up with the theory.
It is the task of the teacher to provide these recordings, but thanks to the ease of Zoom it will not take you more than one minute.
You can watch the video below to get a quick walkthrough or read the written tutorial after.

All the classrooms are set to autorecord, so you can’t forget to start the recording. Yet, to avoid the effort of cutting the beginning, you should in best case STOP and immediately RESTART the recording in the moment you truly start the class. You can make sure that the recording is on by checking the mark in the upper left corner.

If one or more of your students ask you to replay a missed class, you can generate a link for them in the following way:
- Log in to your zoom account
- Choose “Recordings” in the left menu
- Identify the class recording that should usually have 3 or 4 files and more than 300MB (and not only some MB or even just some KB). Click on the file number and -size link.

- Change the name of the recording using the “Edit” Button. It is good to use a format like “Tantra Class WED 7.2.18 Lesson 15” including Type of Class, Weekday, Date and Lesson Number.
- You can “Download” the recording for yourself if you want to watch it later to study your teaching for improvements. Please be aware that you are not allowed to keep and archive those recordings. We will do this centralized and you can have them anytime later on request.

- If you took care for the above mentioned recommendation to restart the recording during the class in the actual beginning, you can use the “Share” function straight from below the first recording (which is the speakers view that we want to share, not the gallery view of all students). Activate the password protection, enter the password that you have received to use for all your classes, click “Save” and copy the link including the password to send it to the student(s) that request a replay. Don’t send it out to everyone every week, but ONLY on request.

- If you didn’t take care to restart the recording in the proper beginning during your live class, you have to cut off the beginning in which you prepared the class.
- Click on the blue “Play” button of the first recording (see screenshot above) to enter the playback.
- Find the beginning of your class by navigating on the timeline. When you found the moment you would like the recording to start, note down the time (in our example 01:14:24) and click “Set Playback Range”
- In the Playback Range screen, adjust the beginning by moving the pin or entering the time you noted down into the first field. (You could also cut off the end in case you kept the class open for a longer time after it finished, but the ending is not the big problem. The beginning is essential so the students can replay from a proper beginning). Click “Save” to confirm.
- In the upper right corner you find again the “Share” function that you can now use as described above.
